Ma Jierui, male, an American alumnus, also known as Jared A. Mazzanti, graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During the year 2013-2016, he studied at the School of Business, Central South University for a master’s degree in Business Management and now is working in Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. As a postgraduate representative, he made a speech at the Ceremony of Graduation and Degree Awarding where his Chinese speech “My Chinese Dream” left a deep impression on over 13000 graduates, parents, and teachers present. The official website of the China Scholarship Council reprinted his speech and also specially reported this American boy’s “Chinese Dream” in the “alumni’ stories”, which aroused enthusiastic response and continuous reports among the domestic media and therefore having a positive and far-reaching impact.
