School of International Education (SIE) of Central South University, as a direct management unit of the school, centers on the development goals of the school's "Double First-Class" construction. In accordance with the working idea of "actively develop, initially innovate, normatively manage, quality guarantee”. Based on the University’s development demands, SIE expands its global cooperation, strengthens collaboration with relevant units inside and outside the school, comprehensively promotes the works such as study in China, construction of Confucius Institutes, and coordination of Chinese teaching, and runs an open, integrative and harmonious international atmosphere.

SIE has a General Office, Admission Office, International Student Office, Academic Affairs Office, Confucius Institute Office, and Center for Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. The current Dean is Professor Huang Helai.
