CSU is currently carrying out the 2025-2026 Academic year Annual Review. This is a comprehensive evaluation of the international students’ academic and daily performances at Central South University. The annual review result will be an important factor for the evaluation of scholarships and awards.

1. Participants

(1) All international students who are not in the final year study;

(2) International students applying for CSC PhD extension;

(3) Final year international students applying for visa extension;

(4) Final year international students applying for the "Outstanding International Graduate" award for the class of 2026.

Note: Students who are on suspension are not required to participate in the annual review; Students whose normal study period ends in July, 2026 are regarded as final year students.

2. Required Documents

(1)  CSU Annual Review Form (Student Self-Assessment).docx (Hard copy);

(2) Transcripts of each year from the start of study until present (Hard copy);

(3) Other supporting materials (Between 2025 to 2026 academic year), such as certificates of award, paper publication, volunteer work, HSK, participating photos, and other documents related to school studies and activities. Please provide these materials as many as possible as they will be important references for the Annual Review.

3. Review Requirements

Students participating in the Annual Review shall prepare the hard copies of all documents required, and please submit them to your counselor before April 22, 2026.

Please submit annual reviews both online and offline. Those who fail to upload or submit the documents before the deadline will be regarded as giving up the annual review. The scholarship will be downgraded or canceled.

(1) All information on participated activities, awards, published papers, etc must be listed on your CSU Annual Review Form. The materials should be between 2025 to 2026 academic year. Please fill out the form based on all information in the Directions. Please fill out the form carefully and honestly. If you leave any section blank, there will be no score for the review.

(2) SIE will contact supervisors for opinions directly. Students don’t need to contact supervisors for opinions;
